About hot spring

  • What’s the temperature of the hot spring?

    It’s about 41 degree Celsius depending on the weather or outside temperature.

  • What’s the opening hour for the hot spring?

    Both public and private baths are open from 6:00 to checkout time and 14:00-23:30.
    If you are staying more than one night, you’re free to use from 6:00-23:30 except the time for cleaning.

  • Do I need to reserve for the private bath?

    We have two private baths.
    The free private bath “Danshaku no Yu” can be chartered for 40min per group.
    Reservation is only available on arrival.
    The private bath “Kanzan no Yu” can be chartered for 50min per group for 3,000JPY.
    Reservation can be made in advance by phone or email.

  • Do you take day trip visitors?

    Currently, day trip is unavailable. It’s open for staying guests only.



  • Do you have a shuttle service from the train station?

    Unfortunately, we don’t have it.
    But from Hakone Yumoto station, it only takes 13 minutes to walk.

    Take on Hakone Tozan bus.
    Go to "Hakone machi" or "Togendai" and get off "Kami-Tonosawa".
    About 5 min and 210JPY/person.

  • How do I get to Hakone Yumoto station by train?

    Shinjyuku-Odawara (Odawara Line) Odawara-Hakone Yumoto (Hakone Tozan Railway) It takes about 2.5 hours.
    Yokohama-Odawara (JR) Odawara-Hakone Yumoto (Hakone Tozan Railway)
    It takes about 1.5hours.

  • How do I get to the hotel from Hakone Yumoto satation?

    Odawara Hakone-yumoto (Train Hakone Tozan-line)
    Take on Hakone Tozan bus.
    Go to "Hakone machi" or "Togendai" and get off "Kami-Tonosawa".
    About 5 min and 210JPY/person.

  • Do you have spa facilities?

    From 7:00AM to 8:00PM.



  • Can we dine in our room?

    If you’re a small group then yes.
    Depending on the number of people and groups we provide meals in separate rooms, but even if it’s not in your room, it will be in a private room, so you will not be with other customers.

  • Is there special meals for children?

    We have several different meals to be served according to the age of the child. Elementary school children will have children's kaiseki meals; a few less than the adult menu. The main may also differ from adults’. If you wish to have the same meal as adults, please make a reservation as an adult. For children under elementary school age who include meals in the accommodation fee, we offer meals for children with hamburger steak, fried shrimp, fried chicken, salad, curry rice, etc. on one plate. For children whose meals are not included in the room rate, we also offer two types of children's lunch plates with different volumes, ¥ 6,600 and ¥ 3,300. If you wish, please let us know in advance.

  • What is the dinner time options?

    The dinner usually takes about two hours.

  • Is it possible to meet food restriction?

    Yes, it’s possible. Please contact us at the time of booking or at least 5 days prior to your stay. However, we won’t be able to make 100% gluten free meals since flour is included in Japanese seasonings.
    Some ingredients cannot be removed, so we will reply after confirmation.
    Vegan menu is not possible.
    Gluten free is not possible.
    Latex allergies is not possible.

  • Is there a place to eat nearby?

    There are coffee shops and restaurants where you can enjoy Japanese food around Hakone Yumoto Station. It is about 15 minutes on foot.



  • Is it possible to send luggage in advance?

    We only accept deliveries from within Japan. Please enter the date of stay and the name of the guest in the remarks column before sending. However, we do not accept cash on delivery. Also, we would be grateful if you could let us know in advance.

  • Is it possible to send our luggage to or from closest station?

    There is a service called “carry service.” You can send your luggage to or from Hakone Yumoto Station. When using, please bring your luggage to the front desk by 9:00 AM.

  • Can I leave my luggage before check in or after check out?

    We accept at the front desk. Luggage can be stored at the front desk before check-in and after check-out. Luggage can be stored until 17:00 on the check-out date.
    If you want to enjoy Hakone with empty handed after check out and pick up your luggage at Hakone Yumoto Station on your way home, you may want to use the carry service. URL below for more details.

  • Is the bath in the guest room a hot spring?

    No, they’re not.
    However we have three rooms that have hot spring in the rooms.

  • Please tell me the price of drinks in the refrigerator

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Normal check-in is from 15:00 to 18:00. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. If you check-in later than 18:00, it will be difficult to serve dinner, so please be sure to arrive by 18:00. Please note that refunds will not be provided even if dinner cannot be served due to late check-in. Early check-in (14:00), late check-out (up to 11:00) are both available with an extra fee of 1,650 yen per person per hour.

  • What are the facilities and amenities in the room?

    Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face wash (makeup remover / face wash foam), hair dryer, humidifier (free rental at the front desk), towels, bath towels, toothbrush, yukata, and yukata socks are provided as amenities. Electronic Toilet, washroom, refrigerator, safe, air conditioner, TV, DVD player, tea set, etc.

  • Is there Wi-Fi in the room?

    Free WIFI connection is available. It can be used in guest rooms and corridors by automatic connection without a password. However front lobby Wi-Fi needs ID / PW. If you wish to use it, please come to the front desk.

  • Will we be sleeping in bed?

    It will be futon mattress. (If you wish to sleep in bed, please make a reservation either Takeyabu or Kiun.)

  • When will futon mattress be prepared?

    After dinner, one of our staff will come to your room and prepare it for you.


Reservation and payment

  • Is there service fee?

    Hot spring tax; 150JPY will be charged.

  • How much does a child cost?

    The room rates for children are as follows.
    Children over junior high school: Adult rates
    Elementary school students and above (with children's kaiseki, breakfast, bedding): 70% of adult price ~
    Infants 4 to 6 years old (with meals and bedding for children): 50% of adult price ~
    Toddlers (children's meals only): ¥8,800 ~
    Toddler (bedding only): ¥ 6,600
    Infants (0 years old and above) (Facility usage fee when meals and bedding are not used): ¥ 3,300
    Even if you choose to have only meals or bedding, yukata for children is available with an extra charge of ¥ 550.

  • Can I use a credit card?

    We accept various credit cards.

    Lump sum payment only.
